Men’s Basketball Battle in Playoff Game Against Rochester

ROCHESTER, Mich.- Men’s basketball hit the road for their second-ever playoff appearance in the modern era and second during the Josh Pickens tenure Thursday night. The Blue Devils headed to Rochester, Michigan, to take on the 1 seed in the WHAC tourney the Warriors of Rochester University. The Blue Devils would succumb to the Warriors 59-80 in the opening round of the WHAC playoffs.

Overall the Blue Devils went 24-51 from the field on 47.1% shooting and 5-15 from beyond the arc on 33.3% shooting. The Blue Devils also went 6-12 at the charity stripe, shooting 50%.

The Blue Devils were led by Brandon Beavers Thursday, with 23 pts, while Gunnar Gustafson had 21 pts. Isaiah Cumberland had 6 pts alongside Carter Frantz. Alek Ivanovic had 3 pts.
